NYFW trend report: Sorbet yellow is the color of spring

Move over, millennial pink!

Sorbet yellow seems to be having its own major fashion moment. And it's all due to New York Fashion Week.

A week of fashion shows has put the light but cheerful hue on our radar. According to designers such as Jonathan Simkhai, Tibi and Tory Burch, the shade is poised to become one of the biggest trends come spring.

Simkhai's Spring 2019 collection featured a number of airy silhouettes in the color, while Tory Burch included the pastel in a number of different looks during Friday's runway show. Likewise, Rodarte's gorgeous dresses also incorporated the shade, as did noteworthy brands Carolina Herrera and Kate Spade.
