Kate Middleton stuns in a yellow Alexander McQueen coat dress at Trooping the Colour

Kate Middleton attended the queen's Trooping the Colour on Saturday, June 8 wearing a stunning pastel look by her favorite designers, and in the process, gave a sweet nod to her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Cambridge sported a yellow coat dress with a peplum detail by Alexander McQueen (the designer of her wedding dress!) and recycled a yellow floral fascinator by royal-favorite Philip Treacy.

As some may remember, Kate first wore the hat at another important event, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding. It was a sweet nod to Meghan, who made her first appearance since giving birth to Archie Harrison and sat across from Kate in the procession to Buckingham Palace.

This isn't the first time, however, that Kate Middleton has recycled a look. In fact, for Meghan and Harry's wedding, she paired the yellow hat with a different Alexander McQueen dress, a cream one that she had previously worn for Princess Charlotte's christening and the 2016 Trooping the Colour. And on Friday, June 7, she re-wore a beautiful cream Catherine Walker coat for the Household Division's Beating Retreat.

After the parade, Kate Middleton and Prince William, along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis made their annual appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Holding Prince Louis for his Trooping the Colour debut, the Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles.
