Trooping the Colour is the Queen's annual birthday celebrations -- a particularly special one this year as Queen Elizabeth turned 90 -- but also because it was someone's balcony debut. Britain's littlest princess, Kate Middleton and Prince William's daughter Princess Charlotte, made her first public appearance today.

Held in her mother's arms, Charlotte joined the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the traditional flyover that celebrates the Queen (who was decked out in neon green!). She joined her big brother George and while Charlotte seemed fairly unimpressed, the little Prince had a blast and was pretty excited about those planes.

Click through below to see photos from the balcony -- there's a lot, but we had to -- just LOOK at the many adorable and hilarious faces of Prince George!

Charlotte, who Kate revealed yesterday has a bit of a "feisty side," sat calmly in her mother's arms wearing a sweet pale pink dress. George appeared to be wearing the same outfit his father wore to Prince Harry's christening years ago -- see below for a comparison.

Kate looked glamorous as she always does, wearing the cream Alexander McQueen dress she first wore to Charlotte's Christening last year. She was wearing a new fascinator with a pretty floral detail, and bold new pearl earrings.
