Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan celebrate their first anniversary: A look back at the royal wedding

A lot can happen in a year -- and no couple better emulates that sentiment than Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. The past 365 days for the couple has included countless royal engagements, tons of international travel and, of course, the birth of their first child.

One year ago, on May 19th 2018, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were married in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle as the world watched. In honor of the couple's first anniversary on Sunday, we are looking back at their very special day.

Accompanied by ten bridesmaids and pageboys, including a very cute Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Meghan Markle was escorted down the aisle by Prince Charles in the biggest wedding of the year.

The bride wore a white boat-neck gown by British designer Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy and she completed her ensemble with Queen Mary's spectacular diamond bandaeu tiara (that she picked out with the queen). Prince Harry was dashing in his black military uniform, and the two looked as in love as ever.

They were joined together in a romantic ceremony that featured an inspiring sermon by Bishop Michael Curry and a memorable performance of "Stand by Me" by a gospel choir. Duchess Kate, Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, Meghan's mother Doria Ragland and the queen were all in attendance, as well as friends of the bride and groom including George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and David and Victoria Beckham.

After a quick change into a tux and a sexy halter dress by Stella McCartney, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan drove off to their wedding reception at Frogmore House, where touching speeches were made and guests cut loose.
