Royal wedding: Kensington Palace releases official portraits of Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and royal family
Meghan Markle is officially part of the royal family!
The newly-minted Duchess of Sussex and husband Prince Harry -- the Duke of Sussex -- appear in the official royal wedding portraits taken on Saturday, which were released by Kensington Palace on Monday morning.
In the three photos, which were taken by Alexi Lubomirski at Windsor Castle, Meghan and Harry are seen all smiles after they were officially married at Windsor Castle.

In the first photo, the newlyweds are surrounded by every member of the royal family and their wedding party. Prince Charles, Doria Ragland, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth are all surrounding the gorgeous couple, as are Prince George and Princess Charlotte and the other children from the wedding. The photo is full of black, white and green, which is the color of Ragland and the Queen's ensembles, as well as the bouquets being held by Meghan and the kids.
The second photo released by Kensington Palace shows Meghan lying on the ground leaning into Harry, who's sitting in a chair, as the couple is surrounded by all of the adorable children from their ceremony, including Charlotte and George.
In the third photo and final photo from this initial round of official royal wedding portraits, Harry and Meghan are seeing sitting outside of Windsor Castle on stone steps. The black-and-white photo harkens back to the couple's viral engagement photos released last fall and show the happy couple embracing on their big day.
Along with the photo of just Meghan and Harry, Kensington Palace relayed a message on behalf of the couple: "They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and those who watched on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world."
