Royal Wedding 2018: Prince George and Princess Charlotte steal the show

Updated

The day has finally come!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have wed in a long-awaited ceremony at St. George's Chapel on Saturday. Millions of viewers tuned in to watch the two tie the knot in the highly-anticipated event, which is expected to cost a cool 45.8 million.

While we couldn't wait to see Meghan's dress, Duchess Kate's first outing since giving birth and the color the queen finally decided on, a Prince George and Princess Charlotte sighting were high on our list. And as expected, the two toddlers stole the show -- and melted our hearts all at the same time.

And as previously reported, 25-day-old Prince Louis was not in attendance.

The two exited the car, alongside eight other pageboys and bridesmaids and Duchess Kate. Charlotte held hands with the other little girls, all matching in white dresses and flower crowns. Prince George followed in an all-black suit, alongside another pageboy.

Practice makes perfect! This time last year, George and Charlotte attended the wedding of their aunt Pippa as she wed James Matthews in a beautiful daytime wedding at a church in Englefield, England. The two siblings joined a pack of other bridesmaids and page boys, who were repeatedly "shushed" by Kate as they made their way into the church.

An overwhelmed George, then 3, also had quite the meltdown, and received a bit of a royal scolding from Kate.
