Best Bites: Colorful chocolate covered strawberries

Say goodbye to boring and standard chocolate covered strawberries this Valentine's Day. Instead, take a bite out of these beautifully decorated treats! Fresh strawberries are dipped in decadent white and milk chocolate, then coated in colorful sprinkles and caramel drizzles. Even better, some are dipped in pink for the holiday!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp canola oil

  • 1 bag (12 oz) of white chocolate chips

  • 1 bag (12 oz) of semi sweet chocolate chips

  • Red food coloring

  • 2 pounds of strawberries, washed and dried

  • Rainbow sprinkles

  • Caramel

  • Chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Pour white chocolate and semi sweet chocolate into separate microwavable bowls.

  2. Add 1 tbsp of canola oil into each.

  3. Heat in microwave at 30 second intervals until melted.

  4. Stir, stir, stir.

  5. Pour half of white chocolate into separate bowl.

  6. Add 1 drop of red food coloring.

  7. Stir, stir, stir.

  8. Dip strawberries into chocolate.

  9. Add to wax paper.

  10. Coat with different toppings.

  11. Drizzle caramel and nuts as desired.

  12. Drizzle white chocolate as desired.

  13. Place in fridge for 2 hours.

  14. Enjoy!
