Best Bites: Nutella churro donut holes

Let's face it...Nutella's good on everything. Cookies, cakes, fruit are made a million times better with just a dollop of the creamy hazelnut spread. There's no going wrong with a spoonful of Nutella.

Give it a try with buttery and fluffy churro donut holes. Coated with cinnamon sugar and stuffed with Nutella, these bite-sized treats will make your day so much better! Plus, they're oven-baked instead of fried, so you won't feel too guilty indulging.

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 2 tbsp canola oil

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup low fat milk

  • 1 tbsp light butter

  • 1/3 cup of sugar of choice

  • 2 tsp of ground cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup of Nutella, melted

  • Piping bag


  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and powder in bowl.

  2. Whisk, whisk, whisk!

  3. Pour in canola oil, egg, vanilla extract and low fat milk.

  4. Whisk, whisk, whisk!

  5. Spoon into mini muffin tray.

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

  7. Cool for 5 minutes.

  8. Brush with butter.

  9. Coat donuts with sugar and cinnamon.

  10. Fill piping bag with Nutella.

  11. Fill donuts with Nutella.

  12. Enjoy!
