Tyra Banks drops jaws in sheer, lace suit at 'America's Got Talent' season 12 launch

Tyra Banks stepped out on Monday night for the season 12 launch event for "America's Got Talent," and the show's new host definitely turned some heads.

The former supermodel donned a totally sheer, black lace suit on the red carpet, and the ensemble showed off her undergarments beneath her outfit.

With her hair styled like an Old Hollywood movie star, Banks finished off the look with purple lipstick and an over-the-top gold neckpiece that fell into her cleavage.

The talked-about style moment comes just two weeks after the 43-year-old was announced as Nick Cannon's replacement as host of "America's Got Talent." The bombshell will join Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Mel B and Simon Cowell on NBC's popular summer competition show.

Cannon and Banks quickly quelled rumors that there was bad blood between them after the news went public. Banks took to social media to post a photo of the note and flowers that Cannon sent to her to congratulate her on scoring the gig.

"Tyra, Congratulations and good luck on AGT!," the note read. "Love, Nick C."

The "AGT" stint isn't the only exciting news that Banks has had for fans this month, either. One week later, it was revealed that she would return to her post as the host of "America's Next Top Model," replacing one-season wonder, Rita Ora.
