Kathie Lee Gifford meets Hoda Kotb's baby for the first time

It's about time!

Kathie Lee Gifford finally met her "Today" show co-anchor, Hoda Kotb's, newly adopted daughter, Haley Joy, on Monday, and the picture is certainly worth a thousand words.

The tight-knit duo was all smiles in the adorable photo of the moment, which Kotb shared on Instagram.

"My girl met my girl and my face exploded!" Kotb captioned the pic.

Gifford's meeting with Kotb's daughter comes after many of her "Today" coworkers had already met the sweet little girl. Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Meredith Vieira had all previously posed with Haley on social media.

Kotb's made the unexpected announcement in February. During a follow-up cover story for People magazine, the 53-year-old revealed that, even though she isn't married, she will not be raising her beloved new family member alone. In fact, Haley Joy will consider Kotb's longtime boyfriend Joel Schiffman her father.

"Haley will call him Dad," she said last month.

Haley Joy was born on Valentine's Day.
