12 summer mocktail recipes
Beach Breeze Summer Spritz (Created by Red Bull)
Pour 1 oz. of pineapple juice into shaker
Pour 1 oz. of kiwi puree into shaker
Measure 1/4 oz. of cinnamon syrup into shaker
Juice a half lime, squeezing into the shaker
Fill the shaker with ice
Shake for 5-7 seconds
Add ice cubes into highball glass
Strain the liquid into the highball glass
Top with 2 oz. of Red Bull Summer Edition Beach Breeze
Garnish with 1 slice of kiwi and 1 slice of pineapple and 2/3 mint sprigs
Mocktail Mule (Created by Plated)
2 ounces fresh lime juice
3 ounces ginger beer
Make the honey simple syrup: Add equal parts honey and water in a small saucepan and heat until the honey melts completely into the water. Set aside and let cool.
Muddle lime and 1 oz of honey syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the lime juice and shake with ice for 10 seconds. Strain into a glass or copper mug.
Top with ginger beer and stir.
Non-Alcoholic Sangria (Created by Plated)
2 cups boiling water
2 black tea bags
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups cranberry juice
2 cups orange juice
1 medium orange, sliced into rounds
1 medium lemon, sliced into rounds
1 medium line, sliced into rounds
1 medium apple, cored and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
3 cups sparkling water
Pour the boiling water over tea bags and cinnamon sticks in a large pitcher and steep for 5 minutes.
Discard tea bags and stir in sugar until it dissolves.
To the pitcher, add the cranberry juice, orange juice, orange, lemon, lime and apple. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and preferably overnight.
Just before serving, stir in carbonated water.
Serve in glasses over ice.
