The Palace will now confirm when Meghan Markle goes into labor

And the royal baby watch continues!

The British royal family has remained mum on any details surrounding Baby Sussex. And while the queen's visit to Frogmore Cottage and Prince Harry's upcoming list of engagements suggest to some that the baby has already been born, Buckingham Palace is saying otherwise.

According to ET Canada, the palace will notify the media when Meghan Markle is in labor, putting any and all speculation aside. The duchess herself confirmed her due date was "late April or early May," but the palace says there's no baby yet.

The update comes weeks after Buckingham Palace confirmed that the family will keep their birthing plans private. Unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton, who welcomed all three of their children at the exclusive Lindo Wing and participated in photocalls only hours after, the Sussexes will celebrate as a family before introducing their child to the world.

"Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The duke and duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family," the palace said in a statement.

A photocall will be issued later on on the steps of Windsor Castle once they've already celebrated as a family.
