Royal Baby Watch: All the fan theories on Meghan Markle giving birth
The world is still waiting to hear news of the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child, and curiosity has bred several fan theories.
The Duchess of Sussex was due to give birth at the end of April, beginning of May, but announced a few weeks ago that she and Harry would "keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private," thus giving them "an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family."
While fans are anxious to receive any news about Baby Sussex, Harry has been out and about making public appearances, most recently spotted at Sunday's London marathon.
As fans are forced to practice patience, imaginations have run wild! Here's a look at some of the fan theories floating around about the royal baby:
Home Birth
While Kate Middleton and Prince William have welcomed all three of their children at St. Mary's Hospital in London, England, some fans suspect that the former 37-year-old actress will have a home birth at her and Harry's new house, Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor.
While this may seem like it's going against tradition, Daily Beast points out that Queen Elizabeth II was born at home as well as all four of her children.
The Duchess and Her Doula
Meghan might seek the guidance of a doula rather than just a doctor. A doula is a non-medical companion who supports a pregnant woman by providing continuous care before, during and after childbirth in the form of physical and emotional support.
Oftentimes mothers who decide to have a home birth also choose to have a doula by their side.
Well, my cousin @AnnikalangaY illustrated my Path to Birth in 2014 and she actually predicted Harry would marry Meghan. as you can see from the photo. So, Harry and Meghan, if you're looking for a doula, I'd be honoured! @KensingtonRoyal#MeghanMarkle#PrinceHarry#royalbabypic.twitter.com/PF1hlsN7L9

Royal Babies
While some fans are looking forward to welcoming a royal baby, others are anticipating two newborns. A surprising number of royal enthusiasts suggest that the Duchess is expecting twins, though, like all the other fan theories, this has not been confirmed in any way.
We're engaging in a friendly bet about Meghan and Harry's baby. Is it twins? @latestbylauren says yes (mostly based on evidence from past guest @emilygiffin) and @aliwashburn says no. Whose side are you on? What should the stakes be?

Baby Sussex Has Already Arrived
Has the baby been born? Some fans speculate the Meghan and Harry have already welcomed their first child into the world and have yet to share with the public. One fact that might corroborate this theory is that the Duchess' mother, Doria Ragland, arrived to Windsor a few weeks ago to be with her daughter during the birth and to help out in the weeks ahead.
Some fans even suspect she had the baby before Easter Sunday, as Prince Harry arrived solo to the family's church service. This is a very popular theory, seeing as the couple did say they would not immediately announce the birth of their child.
