Best Bites: Garlic breadsticks with alfredo dip

There's no need to travel to your local Italian restaurant once a craving for garlicky carbs hits. Instead, you can whip up a batch of this fan-favorite breadstick and alfredo combo at home. It's perfect for get-togethers, March Madness tailgates and more!

Ingredients

For the alfredo dip:

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 pint heavy cream

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp dried basil

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

  • 1 pack refrigerated bread dough

For the glaze:

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter

Directions

  1. Melt butter in pan.

  2. Add in cream.

  3. Mix in garlic powder, salt and pepper.

  4. Mix in dried basil and Italian seasoning.

  5. Add in parmesan cheese.

  6. Mix, mix, mix!

  7. Simmer 15 minutes until thick.

  8. Cut refrigerated bread dough lengthwise into 1/4.

  9. Place on baking sheet.

  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

  11. In a separate bowl, mix salt, garlic powder and butter for glaze.

  12. Brush breadsticks.

  13. Get dipping!
