Neil Patrick Harris has unlimited beer on tap in his home

Updated

Friday is St. Patrick's Day, so beer is undeniably on the brain -- and for Neil Patrick Harris, he doesn't have to go far for his. The actor has been a spokesman for Heineken Light beer since 2014, and let's just say, it's come with its perks (Case in point: there's a Heineken Light beer tap installed in his very own bar).

"Unlimited beer on tap in the comfort of my own home is as awesome as it sounds," the 43 year old admitted to AOL Lifestyle.

Not only that, but he also always has a delicious meal to pair the beer with. As he says, "I have the delicious luxury of being married to a professional chef. Probably one of the top five reasons why I married him. Not that the beer needs it, but anything David cooks makes my Heineken Light taste even better." Lucky, lucky guy.

And it's no wonder the star needs to kick back every once in a while -- his schedule is jam-packed.

He recently attended the South Beach Wine & Food Festival with Heineken and is heading back to Vancouver soon for "more Lemony Snickety fun," as he puts it. He plays Count Olaf in Netflix's adaptation of "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," which was just renewed for a second season. He also revealed that he's writing a series of children's books entitled "The Magic Misfits" and producing a show involving magic, called "In and Of Itself" at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
