We tried Reese's Crunchy Cookie Cup -- and other Reese's products -- and we're obsessed

First Reese's got peanut butter in your chocolate, and now they're giving you cookies in your Reese's -- seriously.

Yes, this is real life. "The confirmation brings an end to the online #Cupspiracy that started two weeks earlier, driving excitement and anticipation for the newest item," Hershey said in an emailed statement.

AOL.com editors got the chance to sample these beauties early, and we took the opportunity to sample and compare with other favorites from Reese's:

"You could say this combination is 'cuptivating,'" said Ryan Riess, Senior Brand Manager, Reese's Brand. "Reese's fanatics are one-of-a-kind. They have a love and devotion to the brand that is unlike anything I have ever seen, and have been buzzing at the potential thought of a new innovation from the brand."

We tried original, white chocolate, dark chocolate, and minis Reese's along with the new cookie cups. Here's what we thought:

"My favorites will probably forever be the Minis, but the Crunchy Cookie Cups are really nice," AOL.com editor, Kelsey Weekman, said. "Reese's is the best candy of my life."

"Chocolate and peanut butter is my favorite combination, so I was really excited about this release," Anna Iovine, AOL.com editor said. ""It's an awesome combination, I like the different texture and added flavor. I will definitely reach for these when they're available in stores."

"Reese's dark is really rich, richer than white chocolate and regular, but great nonetheless," AOL.com editor, Alex Lasker, said. "The Crunchy Cookie Cup ... I am all about it," she continues. "Like the chocolate crunchy ice cream cake of my dreams. Would likely be amazing frozen."

"We're excited to finally let the secret out of the bag and end the #Cupspiracy - announcing the new Reese's Crunchy Cookie Cup," Riess said. "You could say we crushed it!" AOL.com editors certainly agree.

Reese's Crunchy Cookie Cup will be available nationwide in May.
