Gregg Sulkin dishes on the busiest time of his career -- and kindly humors our fall obsession

It was the first day of fall when we chatted with Gregg Sulkin, so naturally, two things were on the brain: fall fashion and pumpkin spice lattes (PSL, if you will).

Sulkin had no trouble indulging us, though ("I'm all about fall"). Plus, he loves the "layered look."

As it turns out, stars are just like us.

"I love seasons. Growing up in London, obviously we have four seasons in one day -- and in L.A., I miss that a lot. So any chance I get to grab at those seasons, I do."

So is he on the pumpkin spice latte train? "One hundred percent," he says. Phewf.

And from where we're sitting, it seems like he can probably use the caffeine. The London-born actor just sold two television shows to MTV and AwesomenessTV, is one of the faces of Armani Exchange's Fall/Winter 2016 campaign and is already set to hit the big screen twice in 2017, starring in "Drink Slay Love" and "Status Update."

"The past two years have definitely been the busiest of my career, which is obviously a good thing," the 24-year-old -- who says he's been acting since he was 12 -- tells AOL.com.

With that said, he values time away from set.

"I do think it's important to find that balance between work and play. I've always wanted to remain somewhat [of] a normal human being."

How does he manage that? Family, nice dinners and video games (Destiny, mainly, he says), to name a few. Oh, and he writes poetry, too.

And while his social media platforms do suggest that some of that downtime is spent online, Sulkin is ultimately torn on the subject (Hint: Instagram is his favorite, if he had to choose).

"Social media is great and it's terrible ... I love interacting with my fans. I love having that personal relationship with them ... I get to share my work with them and parts of my life that I want to share with them. On the other hand ... I think it can be one of the worst things in the world. I think that a lot of people seek validation. A lot of people seek instant gratification from social media, which is not good for the brain or the soul."

We hear him -- but we still think he'd approve if we 'gram our first PSL of the season. It's tradition.
