Katie Holmes gave daughter Suri Cruise an epic 13th birthday present

Suri Cruise rang in her teenage years with style thanks for mom, Katie Holmes!

Holmes' daughter, who she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise, turned 13 last week, and the mother-daughter duo celebrated with an intimate birthday dinner at Sant Ambroeus in SoHo, where they were joined by two of Suri's friends.

After their dinner, Holmes whisked Suri and her friends off to Paris, where the indulged in a more extravagant second birthday dinner at Les Ombres, French outlet Closer reports. During the 90-minute meal, the four-person group indulged in non-alcoholic mojitos, caviar and warm caramel fondant for dessert.

In between courses, Suri and her pals ran off to the restaurant's picturesque patio near the Eiffel Tour, where they played and took selfies.

Also benefiting from the festivities? The group's waiter, who walked away with a $100 tip!

Suri and Katie spend a lot of time together, but the celebrity offspring reportedly doesn't spend time with her movie star father, Tom Cruise, who hasn't been photographed with his daughter in six years.

Us Weekly reported last year that under the former couple's custody agreement, he's permitted to see his daughter up to 10 days a month but "chooses not to because she is not a Scientologist."
