Feud? What feud?

Duchesses Kate and Meghan proved at just their second public appearance together in 2019 that they've seen past their differences following incessant reports that they've been feuding behind the scenes. Both royals stepped out for the annual Commonwealth Day church service at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday.

Per People's royal expect Simon Perry, Kate and Meghan greeted one another with a friendly kiss on the cheek when they entered the church, while their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry shook hands. William also kissed his sister-in-law on the cheek.

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, who were also at the packed service honoring the 53 nations that make up the Commonwealth, chatted with both couples before they curtsied for Queen Elizabeth upon her arrival.

For the outing, Meghan donned a cream-colored patterned dress designed by Victoria Beckham with a matching overcoat and pillbox hat, while Kate recycled an eye-catching button-front Catherine Walker coat dress that she first wore during a 2014 trip to New Zealand.

Meghan and Kate's friendly exchange on Commonwealth Day 2019 came during their second public appearance together this month. Just six days before, both duchesses attended the 50th anniversary celebration of Prince Charles' service to Wales at Buckingham Palace. They were seen sharing a rare laugh together at the event.

Before their back-to-back early March appearances, Meghan and Kate hadn't stepped out together since the Christmas church service at Sandringham on Christmas Day, where they were all smiles alongside their respective husbands.

That was the outing that more or less quelled the reports of their behind-the-scenes feud, despite Meghan and Harry skipping out on Kate's early January birthday lunch.

"Are they the best of friends? No. Do they speak every waking second? No. Do they hate each other? Absolutely not," an insider explained to Us Weekly of Kate and Meghan.

That being said, the two were able to clear the air during the Queen's private Christmas celebration at her Sandringham estate.

"Kate opened up about feeling like Meghan had used her to climb the royal ladder," an insider revealed, adding that Meghan told Kate that "she had felt snubbed" by her as she was finding her footing as a royal throughout the year.

"Being under the same roof meant that they couldn't avoid each other," the source added.

Part of what pushed them to reconcile their relationship was the fact that Queen Elizabeth herself "has reached her limit with all the drama" and incessant media coverage around it.

Earlier on Monday, Meghan and Harry had made another official outing to Canada House, where they honored the country in the perfect way.
