NAACP Image Awards 2018: Red carpet arrivals

Updated

The 49th Annual NAACP Image Awards brought together some of the world's most beloved stars on Monday night.

The show, which was hosted by Anthony Anderson, honored the achievements of people of color in television, film, music and more, and the star power was definitely there as A-listers accepted their awards.

Kerry Washington was a vision in black, while Halle Berry totally wowed in a sheer black-and-red gown that left little to the imagination on its bottom half.

"Insecure" star and creator Issa Rae shimmered in a turquoise-and-silver sequined gown with a high neckline and elbow-length sleeves, while her co-star, Yvonne Orji, was stunning in a muted pink gown with an intricate floral bodice.

Other standouts were "Black-ish" actress Yara Shahidi, "Orange Is the New Black" star Laverne Cox, an age-defying Loretta Devine, Tracee Ellis Ross, Niecy Nash and the co-hosts of "The Real," among many others.
