The Queen may be changing her ways for Prince Harry’s new fiancée Meghan Markle!

Back when Kate Middleton was engaged to Prince William, she was not invited to join the royal family for Christmas their intimate Christmas celebration because they weren't yet married.

However, according to People, Queen Elizabeth has broken royal protocol by inviting Meghan Markle to join Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family at a church service on Christmas morning and have lunch with them all afterwards.

Insiders and royal biographers say the 91-year-old Queen Elizabeth is "easier going" and "prepared to bend a bit" when it comes to the traditional rules that the royal family abides by.

"It's her age," biographer Ingrid Seward explained of the change of heart. "It's refreshing that [the royal family] is prepared to bend a bit."

Another friend of the royal family added that "they are much more enlightened now."

Markle is said to have impressed guests at the Windsor bash on December 11th, and she will marry Prince Harry in May 2018.
