John Legend says touring with Chrissy Teigen and daughter Luna is 'much more fun'

John Legend is currently touring Europe with wife Chrissy Teigen and their daughter, Luna, which is why he says he's enjoying himself much more while traveling the world.

"It's much more fun," Legend told AOL Entertainment during a recent phone call of touring with Luna and Chrissy. "I don't really do as many activities when I'm by myself but, with her, it's more fun. We try to enjoy each city together as a family."

Indeed, Legend and Teigen have been giving daughter Luna a ton of worldly experience this year. Not even 18 months old yet, the adorable tot has been to Italy, England and Bali, among other places, just this year with her parents. And, clearly, the family-of-three is having the best time soaking up the world together.

As Legend continues to navigate being a new father, he admits that he's still finding his footing, which gives him empathy for all other parents out there.

"I definitely can empathize with what others are going through, because I’m literally going through it as we speak," he told us. "Everybody has different jobs and different demands, but being a new parent is very equalizing in many ways, so we can all relate to one another."

The "Love Me Now" singer is using his status as a new father to inform some of his recent projects, too. Legend recently partnered with Capri Sun to film a prank-filled video highlighting the company's four updated drinks with all-natural ingredients.

"I’m a new dad and we played off of that idea [in the video]," Legend explained. "And [that I'm] someone that a lot of moms like to listen to. The kids took advantage of that idea and used my powers."

As Legend looks toward the end of the year, he's excited to record new material once his tour wraps in November.

"I’m looking forward to getting back in the studio and recording again," he said. "There a long time after each album comes out, so when I get home it’s always exciting for me because I have all of this pent up creativity inside me. I don’t really write on the road, so when I finally get back home it’ll be nice to write again."

Whenever that next song comes out, we're sure moms everywhere will be putting it on heavy rotation.
