Kim Kardashian receives heartbreaking news about having a third child

Kim Kardashian recently received some heartbreaking advice from doctors concerning her desire to get pregnant for a third and final time.

"Having kids would jeopardize Kim's health incredibly," a source told Us Weekly. "Doctors have told her no."

In a clip from the upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," which you can watch above, the 36-year-old tells her family that she wants to try to have a third child to give North, 3, and Saint, 15 months, another sibling.

"I'm going to try and have one more baby," she explains to her family in the clip. "Isn't that exciting?"

Though her family offers up that it would definitely be exciting, they also seemed extremely cautious not to encourage her to try to get pregnant again. Kardashian suffered from preeclampsia when she was pregnant with her daughter, North, and had labor complications when delivering her son, Saint, so her family is well-aware of how risky having a third child would be.

"It will still be a high-risk pregnancy," Kardashian explains to her family in the sneak peek, after revealing that she would be undergoing surgery to repair her uterus.

"Having more kids is definitely going to be a struggle," she continued. "I've gone through so much with really bad deliveries that the doctors don't feel like it's safe for me to conceive again myself."

Because of that the Us Weekly source revealed that Kim and Kanye are "open to surrogacy" if it comes to that. At the end of the day, Kardashian simply wants to give her children a third sibling, and it appears as though she'll do whatever it takes to do so.

"I want my kids to have siblings," she concludes in the footage. "And I want to know that I did everything that I could to make this happen."
