Charo threatens to quit 'Dancing With the Stars' over unfair scoring

One "Dancing With the Stars" contestant is already creating controversy.

After almost getting eliminated from the dancing competition show this week, Charo is threatening to leave. The flamenco guitarist is "seriously upset" over her treatment on the ABC show, a source told E! News.

In the first two weeks of the competition, Charo received some eyebrow-raising scores, earning a 21 and 25 out of 40 from the judges.

The 66-year-old contestant, known for her super passionate performances, gave producers a piece of her mind after she was nearly eliminated at the end of week two (Chris Kattan ultimately got booted off).

"She was telling producers that she doesn't like how they're underscoring her and she feels like she's been treated so badly so she was threatening to quit," the source added.

The American music and pop culture icon also made her thoughts known after Tuesday night's episode, revealing to E! News how frustrated she was with the results:

"I was very upset that they kicked out Chris. I was about to make a deal. I go, and he stays. But I don't think the rules allow that. He tried very hard and it's so beautiful. Also, I was very upset that they gave [better scores] to Mr. T."

Suspicions of unfairness began as soon as season 24 contestants were announced, with many pointing fingers specifically at Heather Morris. Morris was a former Beyoncé backup dancer -- enough said.

However, this isn't the first time someone experienced has been on the show. Nicole Scherzinger was on season 10, and Kristi Yamaguchi was on season 6. Though the two ended up winning the coveted Mirror Ball trophy, it was still a nail-biting competition.
