ESPN's Samantha Ponder calls out 'vulgar' and 'sexist' comments about her pregnant body on Twitter

Samantha Ponder, an on-screen personality at ESPN, took to Twitter this week to call out outrageous comments from viewers about her appearance.

Ponder, who's seven months pregnant with her second child with NFL player Christian Ponder, addressed her critics head-on who have allegedly been sending her "sexist" and "vulgar" messages.

"Getting sexist/vulgar tweets abt my job/appearance while I'm unable to see my own feet & covered in toddler pee is somethin else I tell ya," she tweeted on Tuesday.

Ponder and the San Francisco 49ers quarterback got married in Dec. 2012 and already share daughter Bowden "Scout" Sainte-Claire, 2. She announced that they were expecting a second child late last year and revealed that she's due this spring.

The 31-year-old "College GameDay" host took a stand against her haters amid divisive rumors that she could replace Chris Berman on "Sunday NFL Countdown." Fans of Berman, who left the show in January, were vocal on Twitter about their disapproval of the potential replacement.

This wouldn't be the first time Ponder has replaced a highly-regarded ESPN personality. She took over on "College GameDay" from Erin Andrews back in 2012.
