Ashley Olsen splits with 58-year-old boyfriend Richard Sachs

Ashley Olsen and boyfriend Richard Sachs have called it quits.

Us Weekly reports that the 30-year-old designer and 58-year-old financier have ended their relationship after five months of dating.

"Ashley and Richard broke up," a source told Us. "She wants to focus on her clothing line right now. They're still friends and hang out."

Their romance first made waves when the couple was photographed packing on the PDA at a New York Knicks game back in November. They were on a double date with Ashley's sister, Mary-Kate, and her husband Olivier Sarkozy.

Olsen and Sachs made more headlines around the new year when they were snapped showing more affection in public during their vacation in St. Barts.

The relationship update comes just a few weeks after the Olsen twins opened up about their private lives away from the public eye in a rare interview with The EDIT magazine. The former actresses discussed why they have avoided social media as they continue to focus their energy on designing for The Row and Elizabeth and James.

"We don't dive into that world [of social media]; we don't have Instagram or Facebook," Ashley explained. "So we've never been connected to our customers or our fans in that way. We've stayed quite sheltered."

Mary-Kate also opened up about her life with Sarkozy and his children.

"I have a husband, two step-kids and a life; I have to go home and cook dinner. I ride horses on the weekends," she said. "You find the thing that helps you relax and if you don't have it, you have to look for it. Or you get burned out and then you're not productive."
