Williams-Sonoma's early Black Friday sales — here's what we recommend

You've probably noticed that plenty of retailers — from Walmart and Target to Ulta and Sephora — have started dropping their Black Friday deals earlier than ever this year, but one brand's deal that gourmand shoppers might be particularly curious about is Williams-Sonoma.

Quick Overview

Willliams-Sonoma hasn't officially kicked off its Black Friday deals just yet, there are plenty of kitchen knick-knacks to be stocked up on in the sale section. Plus, right now Williams-Sonoma is offering up to 40% off Thanksgiving must-haves like roasting pans, pie dishes, cookware sets, steak knives and more. You can also get free shipping on cookware, electrics and cutlery.

That said, if you're hoping to stock up on some Thanksgiving essentials to set your tablescape, order by Friday, Nov. 17th for delivery by Wednesday, Nov. 22, to ensure delivery in time for Thanksgiving.

In the meantime, whether you're looking to splurge on early Christmas gifts or buy something for yourself to wow guests at Thanksgiving dinner, below are several of our favorite deals from Williams-Sonoma right now.

The best Williams-Sonoma early Black Friday deals

If $45 sounds like a lot for a pie dish, well, you've never owned Emile Henry cookware. It's a ceramic cookware brand that was founded in 1850, and is known for its classic, durable and well-made ceramic bakeware made of Burgundy clay. In fact, I own several pieces from the brand, including this very pie dish — which I unfortunately did not buy on sale. What makes the brand's products unique is that the Burgundy clay material is especially easy to clean and does not lock in stains or burnt food. Caked-on messes virtually wipe away effortlessly. As a proud owner of at least four of the brand's pieces, I think they're absolutely worth it. But don't be like me — snag one when they're on sale!

One can never have too many paring knives, especially if you're the one hosting a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal this year. They're the workhorses of the kitchen, pulling duty for slicing apples for pie and peeling potatoes for mash. Zwilling is a German knife brand that's one of the largest and oldest manufacturers of consumer kitchen knives. The brand is known for its designs high quality, which is why snagging on for half-off is an absolute steal.

Green bean casserole, buttery homemade rolls, sweet potato pie — there are endless recipes that could be made in these cute ceramic Le Creuset dishes. This set would make a perfect gift for your hard-to-shop-for mother-in-law who refuses to let you host Thanksgiving, but it's also nice enough to purchase for yourself as a pre-Thanksgiving treat for the table. And in classic Le Creuset fashion, they're design to match other pieces in your collection, and are easy to wash and care for, too.

'Tis the season of roasted birds, are you prepared? This All-Clad roasting pan comes with a rack big enough to hold a large turkey, but could also be used for roasting a chicken. The V-shaped roasting shape is designed to keep you bird elevated above the fats and oils so that you end up with a crispier, healthier meal. Best of all, the entire thing is dishwasher safe.

If you frequently bake your own cookies or make your own pie crust, these Silpat baking mats are essential for your time in the kitchen — and will replace your need for parchment paper! You bake directly on them in the oven, placing your Silpat mat on a baking tray or cookie sheet. They have a nonstick coating, so there's no need to grease or flour them. They can withstand temperatures from -40 °F to 465 °F, so they'll hold up whether you're baking or freezing things. They can also be tossed in the dishwasher, though the brand recommends hands washing them to prolong their life.
