The first 20 picks of the 2020 NFL draft are set

New year, new franchise player? That's the hope for the NFL teams that didn't make the cut for the playoffs this season.

With the 2019 regular season in the books, the first 20 picks for this year's NFL draft have been assigned out to teams based on their final records. The Cincinnati Bengals, with the worst record at 2-14, were awarded the first overall selection in the draft, which will begin on April 23 in Paradise, Nevada.

The teams with multiple picks in the first round of the draft thanks to prior trades include the Miami Dolphins, Oakland (er, Las Vegas?) Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The final 12 picks in the first round will be determined by the fates of each team in the playoffs, with the eventual Super Bowl champions being granted pick No. 32 (which, once upon a time, brought Lamar Jackson to the now-Super Bowl favorite Baltimore Ravens).

So how did the rest of the first 20 picks shake out — and which breakout college star might teams select at each spot? Take a look below to find out:
