2020 NBA Finals odds support theory that the Warriors' run is over

The dynasty is over.

The Golden State Warriors' dreams of a three-peat were crushed at the hands of the Toronto Raptors, who on Thursday clinched their first NBA championship in franchise history.

Now, it's officially the offseason – and we all know what happens next.

Free agency. Rumors. Speculation. Tampering. Major moves. Everything can change in the blink of an eye.

That's especially true for these now-depleted Warriors, whose most notable players hitting free agency on June 30 – Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant – both went down with catastrophic leg injuries during the Finals and could be out for most of, if not all of, next season.

Durant's injury, especially, changes the entire free agency landscape. An extremely deep free agent class in 2019 includes other superstars who may have wanted to team up with Durant should he choose to leave Golden State.

Regardless of what happens this offseason, it seems the Warriors, one of the main constants of the past several seasons, will not be returning for a sixth-straight NBA Finals. So which team is going to become the league's next powerhouse?

The teams with the best odds of winning the title in 2020 are a mix of last year's winners and a few losers who have been connected to major free agents as possible landing spots, like LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers.
