Report: Omarosa is 'despised' by White House colleagues

Former ‘Apprentice’ star Omarosa Manigault is reportedly winning no fans at the White House, with the Daily Beast calling her "the most 'despised' person" there.

According to the media outlet, multiple inside sources have indicated that she has become an isolated figure within the Trump administration.

Those working with her are said to have complained about her work ethic, unproductive comments during meetings, and efforts to interfere with communications strategies.

A recent New York Times piece seems to corroborate her poor reputation within the White House, saying Manigault has “an ill-defined job and a penchant for dropping into meetings where she was not invited.”

The Times adds that she is a top name on chief of staff John Kelly’s “no-fly list of aides he deems to be unfit to attend serious meetings.”

Manigault secured a White House job as an assistant to President Trump and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison during the transition period in early January.

She has since been criticized, particularly by some African-American observers, for being ineffective in her role despite the fact that she once compared herself to former President Obama’s key adviser Valerie Jarrett.

According to a Washington Post report from March, President Trump has continued to keep Manigault in his circle because of her steadfast loyalty to him.

In fact, Republican insider Armstrong Williams told the publication about her relationship with the president, “It’s just amazing to watch. Not only does he trust her, he’s comfortable with her. It’s almost as if she’s like a daughter to him.”
