Photos of the week: 6/9 - 6/16

Washington, D.C., was shaken this week when a gunman opened fire on several Republican members of Congress on Wednesday as they practiced for the Congressional Baseball Game in Alexandria, Virginia. Representative Steve Scalise was among the injured.

Also on Wednesday, flames engulfed Grenfell Tower, a residential block in West London, trapping many residents inside. The total number of fatalities is still unknown.

Other headlines included Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial, Dennis Rodman's visit to North Korea and Attorney General Jeff Sessions testifying before the U.S. Senate.
