Obama, father of 18-year-old Malia and Sasha, 15, allegedly stayed at the couple's estate for over four hours in the English countryside of London, where it is speculated he may been giving the couple some last-minute parenting advice.

The Clooneys welcomed their first children, a pair of twins named Emma and Alexander, on Tuesday.

George Clooney's friendship with Obama has been documented extensively.

The two played together in a basketball game following a fundraiser in 2012. The Academy Award–winner, who supported Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election, is well-known big-time political donor.

Obama has praised the Hollywood actor for his humanitarian work as well, calling him a "good man and a good friend."

Michelle Obama also said in 2012 of the actor, "He's cute, too."

The former president's visit came after his informal meeting with Prince Harry at Kensington Palace in late May, where both reportedly discussed conservation, veterans, and empowering the youth, among a range of other topics.
