Aaron Hernandez did not leave note for 'prison lover,' sources say

Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez left no note for fellow inmate and alleged "prison lover" Kyle Kennedy before his committing suicide, according to TMZ Sports sources.

Three notes were found in Hernandez's prison cell when he was discovered after having hanged himself last week, and sources TMZ Sports cites as "familiar with the investigation" say those notes were addressed to his fiancee, his daughter and his attorney.

Kyle Kennedy's lawyer, Lawrence F. Army Jr., held a press conference on Wednesday, during which he revealed that his client and Hernandez knew each other before prison and reaffirmed Kennedy's desire to obtain a note and alleged $47,000 watch left to Kennedy before Hernandez's death.

"Neither I, nor my client, have seen the letter," Kennedy's lawyer originally said. "We will be requesting that the letter be turned over to my client as soon as possible."

Hernandez's lawyer, Jose Baez, denied claims on Monday of Kennedy's identity as Hernandez's "lover," saying "rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false."
