Last person to see Aaron Hernandez alive taken off suicide watch, demands final letter Hernandez wrote him

Kyle Kennedy, a 22-year-old fellow inmate who allegedly had an intimate relationship with Aaron Hernandez, has been taken off suicide watch some six days after Hernandez committed suicide last week.

Kennedy, who Daily Mail refers to as Hernandez's "prison lover," is emotional over the loss of Hernandez, and hopes to see a final note the former NFL star addressed to Kennedy just before his death.

'My client is obviously saddened by the loss of his friend, Aaron Hernandez,' lawyer to Kennedy Larry Army Jr. said to DailyMail.com in a statement.

Army also confirmed to the Daily Mail the existence of a suicide note addressed to Kennedy, but said neither he nor his client physically seen it to date.

"Neither I, nor my client, have seen the letter," Army said. "We will be requesting that the letter be turned over to my client as soon as possible."

A judge on Monday ruled Hernandez's three suicide notes should be handed to his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez.

Kennedy was jailed in 2015 for robbing a Cumberland Farms in Northbridge, Mass., at knifepoint.

Hernandez's lawyer, Jose Baez, denied claims on Monday of Kennedy's identity as Hernandez's "lover," saying "rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false."
