March Madness visual recap: The best pictures from Friday night's games

The final games of Sweet 16 have commenced and fans are patiently awaiting the arrival of the Elite 8! Last night Friday, March 24th four more teams took to the court for a chance at glory.

The first game of the night started off with the #4 seeded Butler Bulldogs against the #1 seeded North Carolina Tar Heels. At the first half, the Tar Heels were ahead by 16 points with a score of 52-36. In the second half, Butler scored more points than North Carolina, but it wasn't enough to secure them a spot in the next round. The game ended with a final score of 92-80.

Later on, the South Carolina Gamecocks #7 seeded in the East Region faced the #3 seeded Baylor Bears at Madison Square Garden. South Carolina had a 15 point lead in the first half and did not slow down for the rest of the game. South Carolina defeated Baylor 70-50 in a total blowout.

In Memphis, the #3 seeded UCLA Bruins suited up to take on the #2 seeded Kentucky Wildcats. At the first half Kentucky was up by 6, but as the night went on they continued to steamroll the competition, with a final score of 86-75.

To close out the night the #7 seeded Wisconsin Badgers and the #4 seeded Florida Gators entered Madison Square Garden ready for battle. After the first half, Florida was ahead by only 2 points, but Wisconsin wasn't going to give up that easily, coming back to tie the game at 72-72 in the second half. In a nail-biting overtime, Florida secured their position in the Elite 8 with a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win the game with a final score of 84-83.
