Woman says a 'man-hating' ghost keeps scaring her boyfriends away

A lovesick English woman claims a man-hating ghost in her home has been chasing away all of her boyfriends and male guests for the last 19 years.

Tracy Proctor, a 52-year-old caregiver, told reporters at the Daily Mail that the ghost has been moving around knick knacks in her home in West Yorkshire, such as keys and cigarettes. It has also been pulling down the panties of her antique dolls, she says.

Proctor believes the "protective" spirit forced her sons Glynn, 31, and Alec, 24, to move out of her house, and some of her former boyfriends were "driven out" of her home by the presence.

"It does seem to affect the males around me because of what has happened with my sons and partners," the grandmother of four said.

"It has definitely stopped me having relationships and if I meet someone then I know what is going to happen and that I am not going to see them again if they come back to mine."

She said when her son graduated college, she allowed him to stay in a bedroom she now feels is "particularly demonic."

She thought her sons initial claims of mysterious footstep sounds were imaginative.

"I told him it was the dogs, but he said that they were in the bedroom with him," Porctor explained. "He was so freaked out by it that he had gone when I came back later that day and I was alone."

But despite sharing her residence with what she believes to be a poltergeist, Proctor says she has no plans of leaving her home, or getting rid of her immaterial roomie.

"Other people might not be interested in it and think that I am quite crazy but it seems to have looked after me while I have been in this house and nothing bad has ever happened," she said.
