Photo of Trump, GOP at bill signing gets slammed on social media

Updated

On Thursday, President Trump shared a photo on Twitter of him and members of the GOP at a bill signing:

Trump captioned the photo with his slogan "#MakeAmericaGreatAgain." The photo has been widely shared on social media -- and slammed for its lack of diversity.

See Twitter's reaction to the photo:

This is not the first time Trump has been condemned for demographics. When the president signed an executive order concerning abortion, there were no women in the room -- thus no people who could get abortions:

There is an apparent pattern of the public disparaging the Republican Party for lack of diversity. During the presidential election, Paul Ryan shared a photo of GOP interns that came under fire:

I think this sets a record for the most number of #CapitolHill interns in a single selfie. #SpeakerSelfie.
