Kate Middleton's most stunning looks in honor of her 38th birthday

Happy birthday, Kate!

The Duchess of Cambridge turns 38 on Jan. 9 -- and in honor of the royal's big day, we're celebrating by taking a look at 38 of her most gorgeous looks as a duchess.

There's no doubt that the mom to George, Charlotte and Louis is one of the biggest style icons in the world. And although she often opts for high fashion designers such as Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana and Jenny Packham, the royal is also known to rock more affordable fast fashion brands like J.Crew, Zara and Topshop.

But no matter if she's walking the red carpet or attending an event in support of her various patronages, she always looks regal to a tee. Who could forget that Roland Mouret gown in 2016?

This year, the royal celebrated 38 a little bit early, ringing in her birthday at a gathering held at her country home, Anmer Hall.

After attending church with Prince William, Queen Elizabeth and her parents, the Cambridges reportedly held a small get-together with close friends Rose Hanbury, Princess Charlotte's godfather Tom van Straubenzee and fiancée Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe (a teacher at George and Charlotte's school!), as well as James Meade and his wife Laura. James Meade is Princess Charlotte's godfather, as well, and is a neighbor of the Cambridges.
