Princess Charlotte's first year of school will be packed with ballet, computing and more

Princess Charlotte is off to school!

The four-year-old royal is set to join big brother Prince George at Thomas's Battersea in London on Thursday, Sept. 5 for her first year of school! And according to reports, the tot's schedule will be quite packed with a variety of different classes.

Charlotte, who will be known as Charlotte Cambridge to her peers and teachers, will be learning French, computing, art, drama and ballet in addition to the core subjects of math and reading at the private school. Meanwhile, George, 6, will be venturing into classes such as religious studies, design technology and physical education!

Charlotte "can’t wait to be with George at big school!” said a source to People. She is "so excited about it all.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William are expected to drop off their two eldest children for their first day of school and release photos to mark the milestone. George's first day of school in September 2017 was solely attended by Prince William, as the duchess was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum due to her pregnancy with Prince Louis.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's choice to forgo the elite and traditional "Eton-style feeder" in favor of the South London school for their children was deemed unconventional by many.

The $23,000-a-year private school is located in what has been deemed an "aspirational area" of London and involves its students in a spectrum of classes, including art, dance and foreign languages. The school also emphasizes social responsibility, kindness, courtesy and confidence as some of its core values.
