Baby Archie reportedly looks more like dad, Prince Harry

Updated

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex presented their firstborn Archie Harrison to the world on May 8, just two days after he was born, they said they weren't sure who their son looked most similar to.

“We’re still trying to figure that out,” Meghan Markle said at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle. "His looks are changing every single day so who knows," Prince Harry added.

But now, sources close to the royal family are revealing that 3 month old Archie is no doubt his father's son. “He has lovely, puffy little legs and tufts of reddish hair. He’s really adorable," the source told to People, also revealing that, "he’s a happy baby.”

Fans have yet to see Archie's newly-grown red hair (which he obviously got from his father), but got a small glimpse of him during his first public outing with Meghan at a charity polo match Prince Harry participated in on July 10. Meghan held Archie close, wrapped in a blanket, with Kate Middleton and his cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, playing nearby.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Archie took his first trip with his parents to the island of Ibiza, Spain, potentially for Meghan's birthday. Vanity Fair cited Spanish reports that said the royal family took a private plane from London to Pitiusa Island on Tuesday, Aug. 6 and returned to London on Monday, Aug. 12.

Meghan and Harry are planning to take Archie on their royal tour of Africa this fall. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge similarly took their son George to Australia on his first royal tour when he was only 9 months old. There's no doubt the brothers' parenting styles take after their mom, Princess Diana, who also took a nearly 1 year old William on his first royal tour in New Zealand back in 1983, which at the time was uncommon.
