Lady Gaga's Met Gala history: See all of her iconic looks

Updated

The Met Gala is happening on Monday, May 6th and marks the largest fashion-centric event of the year. And as with every year, the guest list is absolutely star studded with brightest stars of Hollywood and the fashion industry.

The theme of this year's gala is "Camp: Notes on Fashion," so we are expecting all of our favorite red carpet regulars to step out in creative and utterly eye-catching creations, especially from the likes of Lady Gaga, who will be standing alongside Serena Williams, Harry Styles, Anna Wintour and Gucci's Alessandro Michele as this year's hosts.

The last time Lady Gaga attended the Met Gala was in 2016. The theme of the year was "Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology," and she appropriately dressed in a silver sequined getup comprised of a bodysuit, jacket and fishnet tights from Versace. She completed her look with a bright red lip and big teased hair that was very rocker-chic.

For her very first Met Gala appearance in 2015, Lady Gaga donned a custom black and cream gown from Balenciaga (designed by Alexander Wang) with a coordinating headpiece for "China: Through The Looking Glass." The voluminous look was accented with delicate black feathers, and Gaga even went dark brunette for the occasion.

See both of Lady Gaga's previous Met Gala looks in the gallery above and check back her to see what the superstar wears on Monday night -- we have a feeling it's going to be good.
