Brie Larson's complete style transformation from child star to superhero

Updated

Brie Larson made her official debut as "Captain Marvel" at the movie's premiere in London this February dressed like a real life superhero. The star of the first solo female-hero film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe wowed in a deep royal blue custom Valentino Haute Couture off-the-shoulder gown with cutouts on the sides, finished with a matching gold and blue cape.

We can only assume Larson will continue to serve stunning looks on the red carpet as she promotes her latest hit movie, but her fashion choices have definitely transformed from her early days as a child actress.

Larson's career began with movies like the Disney original "Right on Track" and "Sleepover." She was one of the six chicks in "13 Going on 30." And after starring in movies like "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World," "21 Jump Street" and "The Gambler," she won her first Oscar in 2015 for her role in "Room."

In between filming, Larson has been fighting for more diverse reporters in the press rooms and acting as a leader in the Time's Up movement. She's a role model on and off screen, and her astounding fashion is only a complement to her wonderful character.
