Serena Williams shuts down the red carpet in custom Armani at the 2019 Oscars
Just a few days after celebrating best friend and mom-to-be Meghan Markle in New York City, Serena Williams made her red carpet return at the 2019 Academy Awards.
The mom-of-one totally stole the show at the Academy Awards, sporting a custom-made Armani Privé gown for the biggest awards show of the year. Embroidered with crimson crystals on the bodice, the strapless designer silhouette fit the tennis pro perfectly -- and ranked as one of our favorite looks of the night.

Williams accessorized her look with a pair of dashing diamond drop earrings, tennis bracelet (of course!) and a sleek ponytail.
After presenting a clip during the awards show, the 37-year-old ditched the LBD in favor of an equally gorgeous gown for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, this time by designer Giambattista Valli. Of course, Twitter was here for her glamorous look.
