And with that, awards season has come to a close.

The biggest names in the film world congregated at Los Angeles' Dolby Theater on Sunday night to celebrate the industry's biggest accomplishments over the past year.

And boy, was it a busy night. We saw Rami Malek take a tumble, Chris Evans light up Twitter with his chivalrous move, a few notable upsets and a slew of eyebrow-raising red carpet looks.

But the pre-show was a show all on it's own. There were more than a few momentous red carpet beauty looks, and they're definitely worthy of their own shoutouts.

Serena Williams rocked a sleek ponytail, while Emilia Clarke took our breath away with her flirty makeup. Kacey Musgraves' dewy look was the perfect match for her show-stopping gown, while Molly Sim's edgy bob gave us major hair inspiration for fall.

Ashley Graham, Danai Gurira and Rachel Weisz set the trend for romantic hair accessories, while Gemma Chan, Amy Adams, Jennifer Hudson, Irina Shayk and Regina King made a major case for the middle part.

But in the end, it was Jennifer Lopez's sultry eyes, bronzed cheeks and soft waves that reigned supreme for the best beauty look of the night.
