Prince Harry jokes about the size of Meghan's bump: 'There's a big baby in there'

Updated

Last night, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle presented at the Endeavour Fund Awards, an event honoring wounded veterans and their dedication to sports. Both turned heads with their looks, but Meghan, dressed in a black high-waisted Givenchy skirt that showed off her growing baby bump stole the show.

Speaking to an award nominee before the ceremony, Lizzie Robertson of ITV News reported that Meghan said Harry is going to be "the best dad." Harry then joked about the bump saying, "There's a big baby in there."

Baby Sussex is due this April and leading up to the delivery, Meghan has reportedly been learning a birthing technique called HypnoBirthing and receiving acupuncture treatments to de-stress. She's also been decorating an ultra chic nursery and getting ready to move into her and Harry's new home in Frogmore.

Aside from preparing for motherhood though, Meghan was in full work mode at the awards. She presented the Celebrating Excellence Award to an honoree named Nathan Foster who was hit by an IED bomb while serving in Afghanistan in 2011. However, she delivered a speech honoring all the nominees, highlighting how their achievements have positively affected others.

"You don't have that ripple effect unless each of you is brave enough to make that first wave," she said. "And it is so important to remember that, because what you're doing is inspiring so many people. So thank you, from all of us, for being that inspiration, and congratulations to all of the nominees."
