Starbucks welcomes back dessert-inspired drinks for Valentine's Day

Updated

While some might have a significant other this Valentine's Day, some could argue their one true love is their morning cup of joe. Starbucks is welcoming customers to celebrate the holiday with new dessert-inspired drinks and baked goods in-store and at home.

Starting today, February 7th through the 14th, Starbucks is bringing back its Cherry Mocha flavor. The flavor made its debut last year and tastes like a dark chocolate covered cherry, made by melting sweet mocha sauce and candied cherry syrup in hot espresso and steamed milk. The drink is topped off with whipped cream and sugar and cocoa Valentine's sprinkles. Order it hot (as described), iced or blended in a Frappuccino.

Also now in stores are special Valentine's Day treats: a heart-shaped sugar cookie topped with white chocolate icing and sprinkles and a chocolate cake pop coated in milk chocolate icing and sprinkles.

For customers who prefer to drink their coffee at home, Starbucks has also brought back their ready-to-drink Molten Chocolate Latte and Mocha Flavored Ground Coffee to grocery stores.

All products are now available nationwide.
