Michelle Obama rocks $3,900 gold boots during her book tour

While former first lady Michelle Obama is known for her polished outfits made up of affordable pieces, she has proven once again that she isn't afraid to make a fashion statement.

On Wednesday night, Obama stepped out for the last event of her book tour of the year in Brooklyn, where she was having a conversation about her new memoir 'Becoming' with actress Sarah Jessica Parker. Wearing a head-to-toe gold Balenciaga outfit, she certainly ended her tour with a bang!

Obama's standout look included a flattering long-sleeved golden yellow dress paired with show-stopping glittering thigh-high boots, both from the high end designer. And luckily for all of us, her statement boots are still available for $3,900.

Wednesday's event wrapped up Obama's 2018 book tour dates, but don't worry -- you can still get tickets to see her on tour in 2019.
