Melania Trump kicks off Argentina's G20 Summit in $5000 Gucci dress

Gorgeous in Gucci!

The annual G20 summit has officially kicked off in Argentina, bringing together some of the world's most high-profile leaders for two days of discussions on the global economy. Joining President Trump on this year's trip is first lady Melania, who met with other first ladies from around the world for the gathering.

For the first day of events, FLOTUS was greeted by Argentine first lady Juliana Awada at Buenos Aires' Villa Ocampo, later joining the other women for a group photo on the steps.

Trump chose a sleeveless floral dress by Gucci for the occasion, which currently retails for $4900, according to The Daily Mail. She paired the belted look with her signature oversized shades and matching green heels. With it's form-fitting waist and A-line cut, it was a "quintessential" Melania outfit -- and one that easily matched last year's look.

The outfit the first lady donned to the 2017 G20 summit, which included a bold red cashmere coat by Bottega Veneta and Manolo Blahnik Python pumps, is still one of FLOTUS' most iconic looks to-date. Unsurprisingly, the designer get-up did not come cheap, but it was only a fraction of the price of the outfit she donned to the G7 Summit in Sicily.

Her Dolce & Gabbana Coat cost a whopping $51K -- and caused quite the backlash.
