Meghan Markle stuns in 'daring' leather for visit to Sussex

Welcome to Sussex!

For the first time ever on Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited their namesake land, where the royal couple toured the county and learned about its history. They were welcomed by a crowd of school-aged children and wellwishers, one of whom refused to let go of Prince Harry's hand.

Their trip consisted of a visit to the Declaration of Independence, only one of two handwritten copies in the world, before making their way to the towns of Chichester and Brighton. The couple will also meet with sexual abuse victims as part of the organization Survivors' Network.

While the duke opted for a classic grey suit for the occasion, it was Meghan's all-green outfit that turned heads. She paired her green silk shirt ($99 from & Other Stories) with a leather lambskin pencil skirt from Hugo Boss ($595), a look that was deemed "daring" by some. She bundled up in a cashmere beige Armani coat and accessorized with a matching green Gabriela Hearst purse.

Some were quick to claim the look was too "daring," and "too expensive."

However, many disagreed, claiming the monochromatic look was "spectacular" and "breathtaking."

We're very much here for it, Meghan!
