Sweet moment Duchess Kate is embraced by children on her return from maternity leave

Updated

Just because Duchess Kate has returned from maternity leave, doesn't mean that mom duties stop. Sorry, Kate!

The royal marked her return to work after 6 months with a visit to the Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden in London. One of the United Kingdom's 46 wildlife trusts, the school aims to help children connect with the natural world around them.

The Duchess of Cambridge met with primary school children at the recreational center, where she wasn't afraid to get dirty while helping pot plants and embark on a "minibeast hunt" -- or hunt for bugs.

But, it was the warm embrace of school children that has gone viral and warmed the internet's heart.

Shaking hands with the duchess wasn't enough for some children, who quickly attacked Kate with hugs. See the sweet moment unfold on more than two occasions.

It's a busy month for the royal family, who will be attending Princess Eugenie's wedding and welcome Pippa Middleton's baby all in the next few weeks. Kensington Palace also recently announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also step out on October 9th to attend the first Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit.
